It is a bike for a novice biker. It is very easy to assemble and get ready to use. I bought it for my wife so she can enjoy riding with me.I had it put together and ready to ride in about half an hour. If you are thinking you want to get it to ride in comp. or races, don't bother with this bike. It won't hold up to the roughness, I don't think anyway. As far as using it for riding on rails to trails or rides like that, just fine.....
