Diamondback Bicycles Response XE Complete Mountain Bike
CUSTOMER REVIEW
Not sure how "easy" it was to put together - the outside of the box listed a number of tools required to assemble it, and of course as a bicycle tyro I had none of them. So i took it to a cycle shop for assembly, which cost in excess of $100 (they said it took them 2 hours, which I believe). They also advised that I get it "tuned up" after a few months of riding it, as the brake cables and shifter cables tend to stretch, which is consistent with what i hear from experienced riders. Otherwise I'm THRILLED at the quality and price (even with the assembly). If you get one, don't forget to go to Diamondback site for sizing information first - I got a "medium" frame.
