Packaged mostly assembled. You will need to install Handle bars, Front wheel, Pedals , and seat. Brake adjustments will be required. Don't get hung up on first pages of instructions go to the back for detailed data on caliper adjustments. It takes a bit of patience but you will need to do it over several times to get it right. From the factory the rear brakes are tight and the shoes rub the front are way too loose and don't grab. Pay close attention to the set screws they adjust distance between the shoe/pad and the wheel. Do that last. Mine came with a Bent Screw for Rear brake shoe adjustment this demonstrates poor quality control. It did NOT happen during shipping. The Bike was Packed very well. Mostly assembled. Pedals are cheap plastic count on buying new ones. The Seat is the worst in History Go buy a another seat or pay the price at the doctor later. You don't have to spend a lot , count on about 30 dollars for the pedals and seat and you got a pretty good bike. Shifts are good. Bike is a bit lighter than I expected. Shocks work well but are probably not really needed. Front wheel Bearing should be a little more free not sure why its so tight that is probably just because its cheap. Over all this bike is worth the $100 to $130 Price range. Great for average rider not a good choice for serious Trail blazing or long haul. If your on a tight budget this is worth the money, At a minimum get a seat pad or a new seat trust me you will need it. Other than that Pretty standard Huffy product.
